BGC CONSTRUCTION SWEEPS THE POOL WITH GREAT SOUTHERN AWARDS
BGC Construction’s regional office was the recipient of numerous awards at the recent Master Builders Bankwest Building Excellence Awards (Great Southern Region).
In particular, the company’s flagship project for 2014, the ANZAC Interpretive Centre in Albany, won awards for Excellence in Roofing (Metal), Best Civil Engineering Works, Best Commercial / Industrial Building $6,000,000-$10,000,000 and the overall award – Best Great Southern Commercial / Industrial Building Winner.
Senior Contracts Manager BGC Construction, Chris Spooner, said that the awards were testament to the dedication shown by the BGC Construction regional team – the company’s newest branch office, which has been operating for three years in Albany and Denmark.
“The opportunity to build this valuable, iconic project is an honour and one of which we are proud. Congratulations to Regional Manager Ross Marshall and his team on a job they can be very proud to showcase to the community and their families for generations to come. Congratulations also to PHA Architects for a wonderful design and to WA for having the foresight to commission the project” he said.
BGC Construction was also received the Commercial Alterations / Additions Award ($2,500,000 – $ $6,000,000) for GSIT Health Services Building
