MBA EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS – PERTH RECTANGULAR STADIUM

BGC Construction was awarded the Master Builders Association’s Best Public Building Award for the Perth Rectangular Stadium – Stage 1 in a ceremony recently held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, against a field of strong contenders. It follows a similar award for the Perth Arena last year.

The Perth Rectangular Stadium is home to the Western Force and Perth Glory, and following it’s $74 million upgrade, provides seating for 20,500 fans, new lighting, huge scoreboards, broad concourses accessing food & beverages concessions, corporate boxes and BBQ terraces. Completed in seven short months, the project demanded and received undivided attention from client, contractor, designers and subcontractors alike.
